SOB, Pleats & Puff

Hari ni hubby is on SOB (Sick On Bed). Selsema, fever and sakit tekak. Kesian sgt. I cooked chicken soup for his lunch and got him to bed . FYI, i only brought 2 tops, couple of lingerie, 1 pyjama, 1 shoe and 2 pairs of pants from Malaysia. Hubby told that no point of bringing lots of clothes as it is summer sale everywhere. Now mmg dah takder stock lagi as all my clothes are in the washing machine.
So, while hubby was sleeping, i sneaked out from the house for shopping. 20 minutes walk to Rue De Siam.Jalan-jalan sorang- sorang, takderlaa takut sgt, insyaAllah. It was a sunny breezy day. Tak penat langsung. Stop over at the cafe for cookies and cappucino. French pastries are so yummilicious. Walla!
I went into few shoe shops, but sgtlaa kecewa. Kasut yang minat semua tak boleh pakai sebab ada pig skin lining. Damn it. So, i took photos of the shoes and will send it to Thomas Chan. Thanks to Loly, sebab dia pernah ckp Thomas Chan cater for customize shoe. Enuff of the sad shoe hunting. The moment i stepped in ZARA, saya jatuh cinta at this off white silk shirt. The pleats and puffs...that's what i love about ZARA. It was on sale sgtlaaa murah, half of the price at Malaysia. Mine for 29 Euro. Yippie!
Bought few tops and pants. On my way back home, singgah tailor for alteration. Pants panjang sgt. Emmm, i find it a fruitful day. This town is not bad at all. Post office, Kedai kebab, tailor, pharmacies are all walking distance from home. Sampai jer rumah, hubby was awake playing his PSP. Hubby terperanjat to find out i discover the tailor by myself. Not only that, i also know the hair saloon which cost only 1.50 Euro for hair wash!
That is the advantage of walking than driving.
Esok ada appointment for make over Bare Minerals i.d at Sephora. Then, off to post office to post some postcards and pick up my pants. I am comfortable with this place, tak nak balik KL laa!

St. Michel

On our way back home, we stopped over at St Michel. I could not imagine how they build this fantastic architecture stone by stone.
Panic jugak masa sampai kat St Michel, coz it was high tide and takut kereta tenggelam. Alhamdullilah, selamat jugak.

An old castle with huge gardens! Cantik sangat. Hubby was mesmerize with the angsa and itik. Asyik termenung jer kat tepi kolam tu talking to the angsa. Macam Dr Do Little. Kih kih kih.We were in the mood for photos and some were meperek posing:P
On way out, sempat ambik gambar with the newly weds.

Day 1
|
|
My first day as full time housewife was exciting. I cooked breakfast, then clean the fridge, re arrange all the food stocks in the cabinet and cooked ayam kurma for lunch. It is summer now. Subuh is at 4.30am and Isyak 12.30 midnite.
We took a slow walk to Rue De Siam. Ramai org due to the lauching of Le Tour De France. Everything was on sale and its so cheap. I spent quality time choosing makeups at Sephora. Murah giler make up. Tgh sale. The make up assistance so friendly and pretty. I just love her warmth. Adik, i got your Sephora Lash and eyebrow mascara k.
Awal2 lagi dah cakap ngan hubby , not to wait for me. " Yang, u go ahead, nanti i call you biler dah habis k". Hehehe. I just wish Dila is here with me. Tonnes of brands and makeups under one roof. Biler nak bayar jer, i tak sangka Amin ada membership Sephora. B, u nie mmg fantastic, always support my interest bab2 make up nie. So we got 10% off for everything! Yeay!

Im here @ Brest

Alhamdullilah, arrived safely at CDG, paris at 6.40 am. Took the TGV from CDG- Montpannase- Brest. I wanted to take the direct train, tapi ticket habis and the next train was at 1pm. What the heck, nak tunggu lama. So, i bought the 10am ticket to Brest.
It was first time for everything, travelling alone in this country. Nasib baik ada org tolong bawakan luggage. Dalam TGV, i duk tido bangun so many times. I was very excited and tak sabar sgt nak jumpa hubby. The scenery was spectacular. Just look at these pics taken along the journey. Sampai jer kat Brest, there was an LNG ship at the discharge terminal. Aik, just reminded me of my work back home.
Hubby cooked Cantonese Kuew Tiow for dinner. Sedap sgt! Waaa kalau hari-hari u masak kan best..hehehehe

Dear Darl,
Look the crispy kuih sepit my nenek buat FOR YOU! I pernah laa try buat masa kecik2 for hari raya, but bab-bab nak gulung jer, i failed. Tak tahan panas . Those days, Nenek bakar guna sabut kelapa, very traditional.
Just pray i won't wack 'em in flight

3) Order manisan for BIL's hantaran
4) Collect cashmere suit
5) Print out receipe karipap loly
6) Kemas workstation before my lonnnnnnnnnng leave...Yahoooo!
