Azman & Athira Wedding Reception : Orange all nite

We were all dressed up for love...Yes, love for my youngest BIL, Azman and Athira. BIL, SIL, Dila and I sang during the cake cutting ceremony : a surprise performance for the bride and groom. The 2nd secret pops up when we had a 'live' telecast video from hubby in France. Sedih gak, sebab hubby can't join the family that nite.
I had the chance to be 'kanggaru' ( all those $$$ received masa salam2 tetamu were kept in my handbag..Ke hulu ke hilir bawa bag. Aaaa felt sooo goood being rich for a moment). Hahaha:)
Alhamdullilah the ceremony went smoothly. The fun nite did not stop after the guest left the hall. My joyful FIL started the joget lambak joined by the newly weds and relatives. Amboi meriah and best betul!

Well done Ratu Meidina!

Few hours before i flew to Paris last month, my cousin in Jakarta , Kak Erna texted to inform an outstanding achievement of her daughter, Ratu Meidina. She scored the highest point in UN SMP exam- headlines in all the papers in Indonesia. Perfect 10.0 for maths. Back then, i have not get the chance to google the article.

I have a new biras..the cute Athira, wifey to my youngest BIL. Best betul pergi kertih, dapat mandi laut tooo. Hantarans were from my mama's touch . Abg azhar pun balik cuti from dubai and he had the most fun..asyik2 mandi laut jer...
On our way back home, sempat singgah beli ikan, sotong fresh tepi laut. Borong satu tong:)

Yeay, we've got our own diving gear. We went to Decathalon ( like super gigantic Studio R). So shock to discover Tribord offer : fin+ mask + wet suit = 50 Euro!!! Ding ding ding!!
The best part was the fin and mask came in a shoulder bag too, cool kan!
Addition to that were boots and large diving bag.

Love from Paris

Friday - Met my brother in law kebetulan transit kat Paris from Spain. He texted me lapar sgt..kesian betul. After checked in, we bought kebab at nearby turkish restaurant and dashed to CDG airport for dinner. Dah lama tak jumpa Azman ni, i think nearly 6 months. Dah kurus skit ..hehehe..groom to be next month.
Saturday - Val De Europe ( shopping outlet). I think it is over rated. Most of the items dah habis . Summer sale laa. I only got a pair of ferragmo shoe ( 50% discount). We went back with disappointment. Sob Sob. That evening, hubby printed out a list of Ferragamo boutique in Paris. So terharu he planned to take me there sebab yours trully memang dah target to get a ferragamo bag in Paris. Tak mampu nak beli kat KL , mahal sangat. We took the train and stroll finding the first boutique ( the largest) in Paris. The boutique closed at 7pm, by the time sampai dah 6.30. Alhamdullilah, i got a patent leather bag and wallet. Hubby got his canvas shoes- all with 50% discount. So happy that my wishes came true. Berbaloi saving all these while. Its so worth it. Guess what happen after that? Dengan hati yg gum-bi -ra, balik kat hotel tak sabar nak melaram. Jeng jeng jeng, tgk tgk hubby nyer kasut satu brown and another black. Hubby was what like what the #$%@ !
The shoe came with a sack. So i rasa minah french tu tak perasan dia dah tersalah masuk sebelah colour lain. We were so angry . Sunday kedai tutup, and Monday was France Independence Day. Shiiiksss!!! We called the boutique and left a message at the answering machine. On tuesday, hubby called again&perli-perli " is this your latest design? you expect me to wear one side brown and the other black? hip hop collection is it?" and marah2 of the silly and careless mistake.
Minah french tu ckp yg entertain us was interim staff, and they felt so sorry .Next weekend we will get the other brown shoe before flying off to KL. Plus, i will demand a huge compensation. Hardship+ wasting time + energy.
Sunday- Off to the top of Eiffel tower ,hibernate in hotel + HRC paris
Mon- off to Brest

Mac & Karipap

The cooking mode is ON . Buat karipap daging for tea and fried macaroni for dinner. There was no roller, so guna batu lesung to roll the dough.
Thank you Loly for the karipap recipe. It is so crispy. Yum-yum!
