18 months together & I love you more as each day passes by. It is not that easy to be in a long distance marriage. I believe sincerity is the key. The day you came alone to see my parents and asked abah his permission to marry me, that was the day i knew you were very sincere to have me in your life. I still remember when mama asked a tricky question : " Are you sure you want to marry Zura, dah sembahyang istikarah?" You replied : " I am very sure of her aunty. Istikarah untuk org yang tak pasti."
A week after was merisik ceremony and i am yours four months later.
I am thankful to Allah for HIS blesssing and guidance. Towards many many years with you...

Lazy me
|
|
Yours trully is a lazy bum bum when it comes to exercise. Unlike hubby, he has been pumping @ the gym and soccer at least 3 times a week. If ever thinking/ reading can burn the calories, i will be at my top shape right now. With the current global economy crisis, i have few days to plan on my cargoes. Eventho i have the privillage of FOC gym (i love being in commercial line), yet still tak pergi. So it is not about $, it is about attitude. Cubit me for that! Oocch!
Syikes, i think i will consider to join my gurlfriends for either Salsa ( pernah try skali with Pip), belly dancing or pole dancing after work next month.Now i envy nana, coz she is having her shape back with the continous brest feeding.

My new american maid

Meet rainbow: my new maid. She sanitizes the air, suck all the dust till the bottom and dust mites too. Mama and abah were so impressed with the function. Right after the domestration last nite, Abah purchased it on the spot, which cost RM XXXX. Good things does not come cheap. Last few weeks, Mama took the allergy test and she was confirmed allergic to dust and dust mites. Now, we have the maid to solves these problems!
Off you go the normal conventional vacuum cleaner

weekend pool dive

Dila and i tagged along with my sis in law and her hubby for a pool dive. Preparation for our next dive trip either mataking, menado or maldives!
Lepas dive, pekena ayam kampung , jus durian belanda ..sllluprr..yummy!

It was a nerve breaking , tense and unbalance emotions at work for the past 2 weeks. I even experienced a nose bleed. Nevertheless, when i saw the duit raya from my little cousin, Batrisya;her writings flash back the happy moments and put a smile on my face. I was shock when she quietly entered my room at nenek's house last raya and said : "Kak Zura , ni duit raya untuk Kak Zura". To receive duit raya from a 7 years old girl :- So sweet and generous kan!
I carry the sampul and duit raya in my handbag. Because i know, whenever i am under the rain, i know that someone will always love me

Say Hi to my nephews : Rayyan (3months) and Muhammad A'idil Zafran (2 weeks). I believed they collected the most duit raya . Rayyan is so bulat, you can't even see his neck; Zafran, the tiny handsome boy. Both are still on breast feed. Kudos to their mamas for the unlimited milk supply:P

Hari Raya Pertama

Pagi: Rumah Nenek Yan di Seremban
Tengahari : Beraya bersama keluarga bapa mertua di kg Lekok, Masjid Tanah, Melaka.
Aidilfitri tahun ini disambut dengan penuh kesyukuran. Alhamdullilah, panjang umur dapat beraya bersama both mama, abah, papa , datuk and nenek. It is my second time sambut aildilfitri alone. Sob Sob. I hope next year dapat beraya bersama suami tercinta. Hubby called early morning, bermaaf-maafan. I did not cry. I think I am starting to get mature bab2 emotion nie. Thank you sayang for the enormous duit raya. I really missed my BIL, Abg Azhar. Sedih skit la, raya is like a party to him. He will be the one yg pasang2 lampu, beli bunga api and pergi nite bazaar before raya kat rumah nenek. Abg, I hope u enjoy yr raya in London. Amboi bercuti jer yer. Tahun nie, bertambah ahli keluarga. Athira, my new biras yg happy go lucky. In addition to that, 2 nephews : Rayyan and Zafran. Woohooo!! Baru laa dpt dgr baby2 nangis kat rumah nenek. Aunty Zura heart you both !
Mama and aunty jiah cooked 13 kilos of rendang. Petang raya semua habis. U can imagine how many people came to nenek’s house. Aiyooo, penat basuh pinggan tau! My MIL cooked rendang udang galah and pulut. Yummy! Orange is my fav color this year. I decided to make a simple design for baju raya. The material was a gift from Abg Azhar, nice Italian Silk . Thank you abg. Next year, make sure u cuti and we can raya together again
Tengahari, join my in laws balik Kg Lekok at Masjid Tanah. Aunty maria masak her signature Laksa Johor. My favourite venue is at Aunty Sham’s house. The traditional rumah Limas, Melaka. Siti, Am, Azman, Tira and myself asyik posing jer , mcm gambar2 raya kat majalah
By the time, balik dah malam. And…perut pun senak..asyik makan jer

St Michel sales in Brest
|

Today starts a big event in Brest where all the main roads i.e Rue De Siam and Rue Jean Jaures are closed due to St Michel sales. Bought a set of new comforter,an old diver's helmet and a ship half plaque.
