Geezz..it was very difficult emotionally to leave my baby . Felt empty stayed at a porch hotel while zidan was at home. However, mommy bought few new RL shirts and jeans for my handsome boy:)

Zidan attended Zarif's and Aliff's akad nikah ceremony few weeks ago. He behaved very well. Kusyuk sgt dgr kutbah Nikah, while mommy and aunty dil sibuk ambik gambar. He is loveable by anyone. Huggsss and kisses from the ladies till he dozzed off. What a nite!

No harsh chemicals on my baby zidan. Alhamdullilah, Dr. Kader, (my family doc) latest product. Baby bath & Shampoo, Lotion and Baby Oil. Its all natural bebeh!
When i was preganant, i bought his virgin coconut & rose oil to prevent stretch marks. Every nite, before tido sapu kat perut and alhamdullilah, i DONT even have one stretch mark on my body! Jangan jelous ladies out there! Kak Bidan pun terperanjat tgk perut tak 'pecah'.

AQIQAH

Zidan is 21 days old. He is the eldest grandson for both side of the family. Today, hubby, my parents, in laws and bro in laws off to Datuk Dr Aziz's (my gynae) goat farm in Ulu Langat. The mission is to select 2 kambing jantan for Aqiqah. Mama was impressed with the farm. So clean and well maintain.
Hubby selected kambing from breed Boer. Once slaughtered and cut into small chunks, they delivered the meat to the house for free ( free delivery for KL area). I was very satisfied with the service. Daging kambing so lembut.
Aunty rosnah cooked the delicious kari kambing .
As i was still dalam pantang, the doa selamat and Aqiqah was held at the nearby surau, after tafsir yasin class ended.

Aildil Adha

Salam Aidil Adha. Its the 7th day and sunat beri nama baby hari ke-7. Since it falls on Aidil Adha, ramai la sedara mara ber'camping' at our house. Nenda masak lontong while Wan ( my mum in law), masak her signature Laksa Johor.
We have shortlisted names for the baby. Finally at 5pm, hubby officially announced it as Ali Noor Zidan . Which means cahaya yang bertambah.
Ali Noor is my father in law's family name. Zidan carries the first Ali Noor for the 3rd generation.

Umbilical Stump dry & drop off

On the 5th day morning, the umbilical stump drop off. That's pretty fast. The tip is just to drop alcohol swab as it will dry the stump faster.

Home sweet home

Alhamdulillah, baby was out on the 3rd day. No jaundice and in good shape. I decided to berpantang at our own house, as the layout and design is more practical, the guest room downstairs is near to washroom and kitchen.
As baby step in, my mum (known as nenda) feed baby with honey. Mama cakap adat org tua-tua bila baby first time masuk rumah, good to feed him with honey/date.
I have engaged a stay in confinement nanny during the 'berpantang' period. She takes care of baby and myself , i.e. prepare breakfast, wash baby clothes, baby bath, mom's herbal bath, lunch, tungku, barut, infra red ( tangas) and urut. It was really a bless! Rasa macam queen. Thanks to cousin nana for introducing www.ireetouch.com
There are 2 must read books for mommy = Asian Parenting Today and Nursing Mother's Companion. Superb reading while baby listening to Mozart !
Oh ya! Thanks hubby for decorating baby's room. Good job!
